Lets begin!

1. Open up my supplies and your tube of choice in PSP.
Open a new canvas 600×600 floodfill with white.
Choose 2 colours from your tube.
Using your preset shapes, draw out a circle on your canvas.
Foreground your darker colour, background ‘null’, width 20.
Objects – Align – Center in canvas.
Convert to Raster Layer.

2. Effects – Tramages – Tow The Line with the default settings.
Image – Rotate – Right – 90.
[it doesn’t matter at this stage if ‘All Layers’ is checked or not!]

3. Using your magic wand, click inside the center of the circle.
Selections – Modify – Expand – 3.
Layers – New Raster Layer.
Floodfill with your lighter colour.
Keep Selected.
Layers – New Raster Layer.
Floodfill with a pattern or texture of choice.
[I chose Pastel Blue Splatters that came installed with PSP]
Colourise the pattern if it doesn’t match.
I changed the blend mode to Hard Light and reduced the opacity to 50.
Hide your background layer and your circle ‘frame’ layer and merge visible.

4. Let’s re-arrange our layers.
From the bottom up I have:
Background, then merged circle fill, and my top layer is the circle frame.
At this stage I gave the circle frame a drop shadow of V & H [0] Opacity [60] Blur [6] Colour [Black].

5. Draw out a rectangle using your preset shape tool.
Foreground ‘null’, background my darker colour.
Mine was around 500×150.
Objects – Align – Center in canvas.
Convert to Raster Layer.
Effects – VM Extravaganza – Transmission with the default settings.
Colourise to match the tube.
Duplicate this layer and move one of them below the merged colour circles.

6. With your top rectangle layer active, use your feehand tool to select around the circle.
Don’t worry! It doesn’t have to be neat!

Selections – Invert.
Hit the delete key on your keyboard.
Selections – Select – None.
Layers – Arrange – Move Down.
Lower the opacity to around 40 or so.

7. Give your bottom rectangle the same drop shadow we used earlier.
With your rectangle preset shape tool, line width – 3, foreground your darker colour, background null, line style – diamonds.
Draw out a rectangle bigger than your transmission rectangle.
Objects – Align- center in canvas. Convert to Raster Layer.
I gave this a slight drop shadow of V & H [0] Opacity [35] Blur [3] Colour [Black].

8. Add the stitching I provided.
Colourise them to match your tube.

9. Add your tube.
I erased bits of mine to give an appearance of it being inside the frame.
Give it a drop shadow of choice.

10. Add your embellishments of choice. Give them a drop shadow if you need to.
I’ve also supplied the wording ‘Hopes and Dreams’. Colourise to match your tube if you want to use it or you can make your own!

11. I supplied some ‘stamp’ alpha’s for you to use too.
If you’d like to use them, colourise them and give them a drop shadow.

12. Finally I added a mask and moved it to the layer above the background.
I used BeckyMask_23 [which you can get from here, Thanks Becky!] and lowered the opacity to 20 or so.
Add your artist copyrights and you’re done!
