Lets begin!
1. Open your tube, sparkle and texture in psp.
2. New image 500 x 500 floodfill with white.
3. Copy and paste your tube as a new layer.
4. Using 2 colours from your tube click on preset shapes and choose the shape you’d like to use.
I chose triangle, line width 9 with foreground the lighter colour.
Draw out your shape to the required size using your tube as a guide.
Convert to raster layer.
Layers – Arrange – Move down.
Give your tube a drop shadow and then hide your tube layer.
5. With your shape layer the active layer, use your magic wand to click inside the shape.
Copy and paste your texture as a new layer.
Selections – invert.
Making sure your texture layer is active, press the delete key on your keyboard.
Selections – select none.
I changed the blend mode of the texture layer to overlay.
Layers – merge down. [this will merge your texture layer and your shape layer]
Add a drop shadow. I used V & H [0] Opacity [50] Blur [5] Colour [Black]
6. Duplicate your shape layer. On the bottom shape layer Effects – Toadies – What Are You? with the following settings:
Apply same drop shadow as earlier.
7. At this stage I applied a mask layer underneath the toadies layer.
I used one of Becky’s awesome masks [Becky_Mask025] and lowered the opacity to 20.
8. At this stage I hid my tube layer and my white background layer and merged visible all my other layers.
9. I now added my name and the artists copyright information. Also resize your tag if you want to.
10. Now, we’re going to add the sparkle!
Copy and paste my sparkle as a new layer. Arrange it where you’d like it to be.
Rename this layer Sparkle 1.
Duplicate this sparkle layer until you have as many sparkles as you like.
Remember to rename them Sparkle 2, Sparkle 3 etc. I used 5 in total.
11. Open Animation Shop.
Lower the opacity of the sparkle layers to 60 except Sparkle 1
Edit – copy merged.
In Animation Shop, Edit – paste as a new animation.
Back to PSP. Lower the opacity of Sparkle 1 to 60, but change Sparkle 2 to 100. Edit – copy merged In Animation shop right click on the image you pasted earlier and ‘paste after current frame’. Back to psp.
Lower the opacity of Sparkle 2 to 60, but change Sparkle 3 to 100.
Edit – Copy Merged.
In animation shop, right click on Frame 2 and ‘paste after current frame’.
Back to PSP.
Keep doing this for the amount of sparkles you have.
12. Once all your sparkle layers are in Animation Shop click on the first frame and then Edit – Select all.
Animation – Frame Properties. I changed mine to 20.
13. Now you can save your tag! You’ve finished.
