Lets begin!

1. Open a new image [mine was 600×600] and floodfill with white.
Open up my supplies and your tubes.
Copy and paste my template [AP_temp10] as a new layer.
Colourise to match your tube.
*TIP* If you can’t get it to the colour you require follow these steps:
Selections – Select All. Selections – Float. Selections – Defloat.
Layers – New Raster Layer. Floodfill with your colour of choice.
Selections – Select None. Delete the ‘grey’ template layer.

2. With your magic wand select the rectangle in the center.
Selections – Modify – Contract – 8.
Layers – New Raster Layer.
Floodfill with a colour of choice. I used black.
Keep selected!

3. Copy and paste different tubes as new layers.
You should have something like this:

Selections – Invert.
On each tube layer hit the delete button on your keyboard.
Selections – Select None.
Hide the bottom 2 layers in your layer palette [this should be your background and template] and merge visible.

4. With your merged layer active, Edit – Copy.
Edit – Paste as a new Image.
You should now have your merged tube layer on it’s own.
Image – Rotate with the following settings:

Effects – Tramages – Tow The Line [default settings].
Image – Rotate with the following settings:

Edit – Copy.

5. On your original canvas, Edit – Paste as a new layer.
You should now have 2 merged tube layers.
Reduce the opacity on both to 50 or so.
Hide the bottom 2 layers again and Merge Visible.
I gave mine a drop shadow at this point of V & H [0] Opacity [50] Blur [5] Colour [Black]

6. Make your template layer the active layer.
Click inside each section of the top and bottom arrows and rectangles.
You should have something like this:

Selections – Modify – Contract – 8.
Layers – New Raster Layer.
Floodfill with colour of choice [I used black].
Selections – Select None.

7. Still on this new layer, with your magic wand select the 2 arrows nearest to the rectangles.

Selections – Modify – Contract – 5.
Floodfill with your original colour.
Repeat this for the 3 other arrows so you have them all on seperate layers.
I renamed mine arrow1, arrow2 etc so as not to confuse myself.
With your magic wand, select all the ‘coloured’ parts of your tag.
Adjust – Add/Remove Noise – Add Noise with the following settings:

Repeat this for all the different coloured layers.
[see tag for reference]

9. At this stage I added a drop shadow to my layers.

10. Copy and paste the diamonds I supplied as a new layer.
I supplied some shapes that I used. You can colourise them and add them, or you can add your own!
I used the same noise as previously and gave them a drop shadow.
If you’re using the ones provided you do not need to do this.

11. With your pen tool selected, line width 2, choose a line style of choice.
I chose ‘diamonds’ and the colour black.
Draw out a line the same width as the middle rectangle.
Give it a drop shadow.
Place it between the middle rectangle and the upper arrows.
Duplicate it and move it down to the space between the middle rectangle and the lower arrows.
[see tag for reference].

12. With your background layer active, Layers – New Raster Layer.
Floodfill with a colour that matches your tube.
Apply a mask of choice.
I used WSL_Mask19 made by the super talented Chelle! [if you want to use the same one you can download from Chelle’s site].

13. Add your main tube and give it a drop shadow of choice.
Add your name and artist copyrights.
